Great in the kitchen.
I hesitated to buy this when my first child was born because of the price. When I recently had my second, I decided it would be worth the splurge. Why? 1) It is higher than most other newborn recliners, so it's easier to respond to the baby when you are cooking (that's when I'm least comfortable having the baby in a carrier); 2) it feels as if the baby is joining you at the table (don't have to constantly leave the table to crouch next to the bouncer on the floor or practice feeding yourself and a two-year old one-handedly) ; and 3) having the baby at the table sends an important message to my eldest that the baby IS part of the family. Other things: it was easy to put together and it's easy to take the cover off for washing. I think the hanger is a little too close to baby's face, but you can adjust that a bit if you don't put it on correctly. Overall, well worth the money if you plan on using the high chair alone when baby's 6 mo +.
